Abstract
General information was provided on weed community in this paper , their dynamics and chemical control till and notill summer corn field in Hebei province. There were 77 weed species in the summer cornfield and 10 of them were dominant. Weeds emerged before early July mostly reduced corn yield due to the competition. The mixture of atrazine and acetochlor was the popularly used herbicide for summer till corn while roundup plus atrazine and acetochlar would give well control of the weeds in till corn when they were applied pre - emergence. Post emergence herbicide nicosulfuron was sprayed in the foliar stage when both weed and corn emerged before winter wheat harvested and paraquat was sprayed between rows of the corn if dense weeds were found in the late growing stage of corn
